What Are the Signs Your Tinnitus Is Getting Better / Not as Loud?

I got tinnitus from a jaw misalignment/neck issues.

Is the tinnitus not loud as it normally is?? Does it disappear for a few days?? etc... What are the signs it's getting better for the avg person?

 

I'd say "When you notice it less"; although tinnitus is real it is also subjective, so if you notice it less there's less of it.

 

When it switches from a high pitch tone to a hiss. When it gets quieter.
