I met with an audiologist and once he gets my ENT results from a battery of ear testing, he plans to start some therapy for me. I am also having a brain MRI. He gave me an App called Tinnitus Measurer and asked me to check to try and isolate the frequency and volume level of my tinnitus.

The problem is my tinnitus is really more of a buzzing in my head which is predominately transmitted to the left ear. It isn't a ringing "tone." The closest I can get is way up around 13,000Hz. Will this impact maskers etc. if we can't "cancel out" the tone?
