What Is the Best Drug or Supplement You've Taken to Deal with the Emotional Aspects of Tinnitus?

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Sonor Trauma
      Im on Zoloft since one month and it helps me deal with the sound, it dont affect me the same way now Im more stoic about it
      I have anxiety problem since forever and pretty bad OCD so its logic that this med help me, I dont know for you.
      Im not such suicidal anymore because of it
      At the beginning it was very hard for me to take an SSRIs because everyone of them tells a slight chance of T in the list of side effects :/

      Katadolon (Flupirtine).
      Though I use it only in extreme cases cause it WILL mess up my liver.

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      one week after leg surgery plus hearing loss in higher freq.
      I take 0.5 xanax morning afternoon and night, it lowers my T and relaxes me and has helped me habituate. Also sleep with nature sounds with birds chirping, cricket sounds or ocean waves. Go to the gym and workout 4 times a week and do tai chi. With all that and keeping busy my high pitched T fades some and doesnt bother me most of the time...

      I know it works on depression. Did it lower your tinnitus?
