What do you guys do with really bad tinnitus to cope with the ringing?

I’ve got an ear infection and possibly an ongoing issue and it hiked up to a very loud noise a couple of days ago.

Before it was manageable but now I can’t sleep and it’s really affecting me mentally.

Any tips on what you use?

@ClubRacer It depends the pitch of your tinnitus. I have high-pitched tinnitus and I listen to the sound of crickets. It works for me, been using it for years.
If you don't have a sound machine, consider one from Sound Oasis. They have a variety of machines available for purchase either online or at most pharmacies.

@ClubRacer Mine is unmaskable. Multiple tones all over 13000hz. I’m suicidal every morning at the thought of getting through another day BUT I sleep alright so you can absolutely do it. I use heavy rain and and focus on it through the screaming T if that makes sense. Trust me before this I couldn’t even handle light snoring in the same room.

Can't recommend this site enough. A huge variety of masking that's customizable and if you donate you can also download mp3s of what you customized for a duration of your choosing.
