      Wow!!

      Since may hubby left me last year I got myself a job in a care home, age 54.
      Done in-house training.
      Online training.
      MAPA training.

      And just completed my care certificate covering the 15 standards.

      So proud of what I have accomplished as an independent woman.

      Congrats, glynis! My sister who is around your age just got out of a long, bad marriage last year and is living in an apartment and working full time for the first time in decades (motherhood + health issues). She is finding it a liberating time to be single as far as I can tell.
