Why do I constantly get a tone in one ear, but then sometimes also in the other ear? Could it mean my tinnitus may be going away, especially if it was worse in my intermittent ear, but now it’s static?

If it is fading compared to how it was a month ago, it ought to continue to fade.

Mine started one day earlier compared to yours. It sometimes switches ears. I think the brain is looking for signals and if it doesn't find them then it looks in the other side. Mine comes and goes, it's actually almost gone today. I think it depends on the cause of the T. I have been diagnosed with BPPV, and an inflamed eustachian tube, and of course the repurcussions of my concussion. I don't think switching ears is any indication of it going away. However, it could be a good sign regardless.

My ringing is just in one ear, so I'm thankful that I still have one good ear, which means that I have to be all the more careful about remembering to protect the bad one.
