Why do we live so still .. 18 years of the XXI century passed. The nature of man is this?

We have all the resources to practically create a paradise on Earth. But all spoil and destroy such human qualities as money, pride, arrogance.

Why do billionaires need so much money? All the same they will not take so many blessings with them to the grave.

Take at least the Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah. This is a life-buzzer who owns a fleet of 5,000 exclusive cars. 150 houses abroad, a mansion with 260 bathrooms. And so on. Is this not madness? "With such money as that of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and his brother Jeffrey, one could cure all the diseases in this world. The only problem is that they both do not care about other people, " said one of the business associates of Fortune, close to the royal family.

The study of noise in the ears since 1985, since the advent of ATA, was spent only 15 million dollars. I am sure that in our capitalist world, with significantly greater investment, we could already open the treatment of tinnitus and hang the development of treatment for hearing loss of various types. It's just that people want to enjoy life and spit on others. Just because they were lucky.make discoveries that change the world. We don't live in paradise on earth, because people like you prevent productive people from creating the value required to create such a place.
One hundred years ago, people in your country already tried stealing resources from the people who earned them. How did that work out? Why not learn from the mistakes of the past?

What made this Sultan rich (and what made many people in Saudi Arabia rich) has nothing to do with the capitalism (that it appears you are speaking out against) that created most other billionaires.
I disagree with the above. If 15% of the population would be willing to pay small sums to get rid of their T, and 1% of the population would pay a large fraction of their net worth to get rid of it, we are talking about billions if not trillions of dollars. So the incentive to create these treatments is certainly there. If it would be possible to develop a T treatment, people would try to take advantage of such an opportunity. The fact that there has been little investment must have something to do with the investors understanding how complex this problem is and how unlikely we are to come up with an effective treatment.
