      Are you willing to try any new medication for your tinnitus even though it might have some nasty physical or mental side effects?

      SSHL from virus
      It would depend on the likelihood of the side effects as well as what would be the potential side effects.

      For me personally, I am very cautious of anything with ocular or cardiovascular side effects because I have pre-existing conditions.

      Unfortunately, for most of T treatments, the patients risk having their T getting louder.

      No the risk is too high, and that's what's tough about finding a treatment.

      I took to trobalt for a year. I was very careful and had my eyes monitored by an ophthalmologist. It helped my T greatly while I was on it, and when I tapered off of it my T didn't bother me as much. I had no long term side effects (that I know of), but some people on this forum have.

      I guess my answer would be it depends on the likelihood of side effects, but I'm less likely to take risks now than than 1-2 years ago when I was desperate for relief.

      NO...i would be trading one health issue for another.

      Chronic stress
      I would as I've been through hell with Lyme disease and now have chronic T as well.
