YouTuber Jacksepticeye Talks About His Tinnitus

Jacksepticeye is an Irish YouTuber. He wrote on Twitter that he is battling tinnitus since childhood.

He has 5M followers on Twitter and 21M on YouTube. Maybe we (Tinnitus Talk) could approach him and ask him if he is interested in raising some awareness about tinnitus and hearing loss?

I can try and write him an e-mail pointing to this forum.

Or maybe he would be interested in doing a podcast with @Jack Straw.

Under the channel info tab on his YouTube channel . I was thinking about writing him before posting here, but maybe it's better to approach him officially.

 

He could be especially helpful in raising awareness in a younger demographic. I think he would be great on a podcast.

Probably his ringing got worse after playing hours every day with headphones on.

 

I wonder if Jack Straw could email him representing Tinnitus Hub/Tinnitus Talk podcasting and show interest in his story?

That was kind of my idea, I thought surely it would be better to approach him in a more official way then just sending a random e-mail.

 

I wish all the clueless people replying to the tweet knew how devastating this condition really is.

On another note:
This is an amazing opportunity and hopefully Jack will come through. Maybe in his next live stream I'll donate $20 and ask him to talk about it some more.
