Was able to sleep for 4.5 hrs last night. The jaw pain had gone when under the effect of Hydroxyzine. Now, morning it's back, I have just now taken 10 mg Citalopram.

I believe if you have no hearing loss, the OAE test will just come back normal. You would not have enjoyed it with hyperacusis.

No, unfortunately I've never had any periods of no T since it started 7 years ago, for my it gets louder with certain movements. So I guess that's good news, you must have sine sort of somatic T that improved with movement

I use a Fitbit for sleep also. It's so far off. It thinks I'm asleep a lot of the time just because I am lying still. It does seem more accurate if it thinks I'm awake, then I probably am. So I just use it as a guideline when figuring how much I slept.

Okay..I think I still haven't figured out whether I have reactive tinnitus or not. The Problem is my Hyperacusis prevents me from listening to any loud sounds. So, I really can't say that my Tinnitus is not reactive. It might well be.

I've always taken it to mean any sounds coming from speakers, headphones, and earbuds, which have of course gone though electronic circuits in route, as opposed to natural sounds in the environment. I sleep listening to a pair of bluetooth speakers emitting cricket/cicada sounds.

You should avoid taking benzos like Alprazolam (Xanax) if at all possible. They can do a lot more harm than good in the long run. I was prescribed the benzo Lorazepam 3 times per day @ 0.5 mg, but I take it about 1/10 th that frequency! It's 1/2 the potency of Xanax.

When I was on an AD temporarily, I avoided NSAID due to possible bleeding. I'm more likely to take Tylenol for a headache, but at least I can take naproxen or ibuprofen again, which I've had to due for back pain before rarely.

@kingsfan I've taken doses as low as 1 mg and as high as 5 mg, usually low, I've taken time release, I've taken well before bedtime, shortly before bedtime, at bedtime, different types, sublingual, never seems to make any difference for sleep, dreams, tinnitus, anything. Zolpidem works, though.
