      Hi Every one,

I just wanted to give my 2 cents to why spike occurs. I have seen again and again when ever I am exposed to some what " loud noise" my T spikes next day. By loud noise ,i means loud noise for us not for folks who dont have T. By loud noise i mean door slams, loud car , traffic noise, loud music in a bar. I feel that many times i feel noise was not loud enough, but next day i would have spike.'
I have been wearing plugs while driving and i feel my random spikes frequency has gone down a lot. I know lot of people here are afraid of Hyperacusis, but i thought let me share my experience with you guys. If any one is getting lot of random spikes ..may you can try protecting your ears for 2 months or so and see if T becomes better.

Yes ..not 24/7. Only when driving or near loud places .
Not while home ..watching TV or at work .
