Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Ltd (LPL) on Monday said it has introduced in the country an ear spray to cure the ‘ringing problem’.

The Ahmedabad-based company had entered into an agreement with Phafag AG, Switzerland, for its Caroverine molecule for the treatment of tinnitus, commonly known as “ringing in the ear”, a condition where the inner hair cells get damaged causing continuous depression, anxiety and insomnia in patients. Millions around the world suffer from tinnitus.

LPL became the first company in India to introduce a cure for tinnitus with the launch of the Tinnex injection and capsule. Now LPL has introduced the Tinnex ear spray.

“A study reveals that 10-15 per cent of Indians suffer from tinnitus. It is a condition in which people hear abnormal sounds, noise, ringing in their ear without the objective sound source near them. It’s a disease that is increasing among the youth of the country too,” Mahendra G. Patel, Managing Director said, quoting Dr Klaus Ehrenberger, former head of the Department of Otolarhingology, Medical University, Vienna, Austria.

Dr Ehrenberger, on a visit to India to present his research papers on the treatment of ENT, said “incidence of tinnitus in Indians in the age group of 70-80 years is 40 per cent.”

I also had the Tinnex infusion, I manged to get the medicines over to Ireland and a local doctor administered the treatment. I had two infusions 10 days apart and it had absolutely no benefit to my tinnitus condition.

i got Caroverine Capsules for two month supply.I start to use it today.They told me to use it for

My ENT has suggested me to take tinnex (Caroverine Capsules) 20Mg (2 Capsules twice a day) ie 4 capsules a day for a period of 1 month.
Has anyone else taken this treatment? Is it really effective? Any Side effects?

Hi friends
I used tinnex caroverine capsules 20mg more then one month
I think my tinnitus sound level is redused little may be 25%
But I am not sure it is caroverine effect or not,

Great news. Very happy that at least someone has improved. Did you have any side effects like constipation or others....also what was your dosage
Also would like to know if effect was temporary I.e. did it ware off after few hours.

Oh and lastly how did you get tinnitus. This will help US all.

Last month My t redused little but i think it is not tinnex effect
It is not helped for me

 

I will be in India around February and will do all I can to go the New Dehli to get a treatment. The info I been reading says it`s injected through IV... for a couple of hours even.. there is different reactions, from no reaction to very good results. Even people with tinnitus for longer than 3 years reported good effects. So I hope to come back with news in February.

 

Very interesting, can you tell me more about the planend treatment? I wonder how you do all the long flights, i find planes to be very loud since i got T...

 

It is not planned yet, but I will be in India for some gime so i gonna do all I can do this treatment. I will deffinately keep notes from my experience here on the forum. I send an inquiry today so I will update when I get a reply.

Planes can be loud but there are earplugs of course

strange product tinnex, seems to be out for a few years, still not a lot of info released about it ...

 

let us know..i may have to go there and pick up a chicken tikka masala and a tinnex!

 

I flied to India on March, and received tinnex IV injections twice in 3 days and bought 3 months of caroverine (tinnex) capsule at ENT Clinic in Mumbai (was only few in the city to offer caroverine) , it was totally not work for me. No any sign of improvement on me.

The first injection was by slow IV infusion, and second was at normal speed.
