      Hey Everyone,

Does anyone else here have waves of new tinnitus tones that occur randomly? The past few days I have been sitting in quiet rooms when all of a sudden a new tone comes into my ear at a very loud volume and then usually seems to fade within a few seconds.

I have noise induced hearing loss from a pair of headphones and a very loud unintentional blast of noise. Since then I have had a steady high pitched tinnitus tone as well as a somewhat newer low pitched tone. I also have mild hyperacusis and fluctuating aural fullness.

Does anyone have any advice or similar experiences?

      You mean fleeting tinnitus?
I believe almost everybody gets that once in a while.
I have it at least once every 2-3 days.

Thanks undecided, I believe this is what it's called. I found a post online with input from a number of people who also experience tinnitus. It appears this may be nothing to worry about:
