Interesting. I have to take a pill everyday that are known to interfere with magnesium absorbtion. I'm going to try it. If my tinnitus goes after 2 months of taking magnesium, i'm going to send you a virtual pint.

Was also on high dose of vitamin D at the time because of a deficit.

Vit D, Magnesium etc. DOn't think any of them are effective for treating tinnitus.

Just had my bloods tested and I have a serious vitamin D deficiency. Not sure what the scale is, but I scored a 13.

So I've been given Fultium D3 tablets and Aviticol D3 tablets. Obviously this won't help with Tinnitus, but worried it might have a negative effect and make it worse. Does anyone have any experience with these two tablets? Should I be countering them with magnesium supplements just in case? My bedroom look like a pharmacy as it is! :)

Magnesium does not help my tinnitus but I still take them since it seems to help prevent further injury to the ears or so I have read...

Last year I was told I had low vitamin D and was taking 50,000 units a week. It was from August all the way to December then my tinnitus started this is year which was on the 4th of January not sure if that had anything to do with it but I stopped taking them after I got tinnitus.

I think there may be a connection between vitamin D supplementation, magnesium deficiency and tinnitus. Looking back on it, I think my T may have began about the time my doctor started me on Vitamin D for deficiency. The T went away after I began taking chelated magnesium 250 mg daily. I still take the Vitamin D and the magnesium, and no tinnitus. https://www.facebook.com/773928686094280/posts//
