As far as I can remember I've always had ringing in my ears. Growing up people just assumed I don't listen or had trouble hearing instructions and conversations, and I assumed it to be normal. Nowadays it's normal to me still, but understand where the trouble with hearing comes from. However it seems to be getting worse with time with my right inner ear twitching at times. It's funny how 20 some years of ringing never bothered me, but as soon as this happened...I don't know what to do with it. I'm glad to have stumbled on this community here to learn more about Tinnitus and the solutions people are finding to find aid in this way of life.
