I actually don't think the bark was too loud it was just the shock of it from the fact he very rarely barks Jan 10, 2022

Was having a good few days until just now when my parent's dog barked about 2 feet from my bad ear. No spike yet but damn that's frustrating

Happy NY my friends. Here's to a prosperous 2022 and a year closer to a cure of this bollocks

Great, that low frequency laptop fan sound I had for a few horrific days a few months ago is back. Hopefully it fades quickly again

Girlfriend smashed the toilet lid on the other side of the wall, now I've woken up with a huge spike, maybe I do have noise inducted T

@Mnq16 I think the absolute majority have noise induced tinnitus, even if a lot of other things causes its onset. Though, I'm not sure if a toilet lid dropping would cause a spike through the wall... Wouldn't the sound have been dampened? Was the sound "loud/moderately loud" to you? If it wasn't, I have a hard time thinking that was it.

@Stacken77 Mine came alongside Visual Snow Syndrome but I have noticed spikes from noise so maybe you're right. It was a lot louder than you'd think it would be but I think it was just the shock that got me, also the fact my head was against the wall. Seems like the spike faded throughout the day so that's good.

Is there a link between gum and fleeting T? The last 2 times I've had fleeting T in my good ear I've been chewing it, weird

I thought this was hyperacusis but external sounds dont bother me. I've resorted to stopping speaking completely- what a life ay :(

I really need some help, my voice is causing some weird vibrating sensation in my head. Does this sound like hyperacusis or something else?

The voice vibrating has turned into an occlusion effect in my whole head- don't know if I prefer this or not but I guess change is good

@Mnq16 Thank you for the encouragement, mate. I'm really struggling right now because of this new sound. It's causing me so much anxiety that I don't know how to cope.

@kuromi is this the fire alarm sound you're talking about? It seems like it's faint for you so I'm sure it'll either fade away very soon (like tomorrow even) or you'll forget about it.

@Mnq16 Yep. I went out on Sunday and now my T ear has a faint tone that sounds like my fire alarm, thankfully it's quiet so I'm trying to manage and just hope it goes away on its own with time.

Sorry to hear that, @Mnq16. Sounds like TTTS. It can definitely improve, as I've had it pretty badly, but have improved quite a lot.

@Stacken77 Thanks for your response. I have a suspicion it’s something to do with my eustachian tube as it completely eases after I’ve had a shower for a few hours. It’s really weird
