My tinnitus began during my USAF days as an aircraft maintainer. There was not a tremendous amount of attention given to ear protection prior to the mid-70s and although ear muffs were always available, most of us ignored them unless we were almost immediately next to a running plane! It's truly amazing that we have any hearing at all, in retrospect! Over the years, I've found more MD's would rather ignore the problem than to do anything more than push pills at it. I've pushed back at a drug approach because, well, we get too many of them presented to us anyway! Stumbled on this group while searching for reviews of a very familiar book being offered as helps! Those offers very seldom truly give what they claim but do a fantastic job of taking hard earned money!! Look forward to your inputs here for possible solutions to ease, if not eliminate, those damnable crickets, tone generators, and the occasional wavering signals!Interact
