FX 322 of course is important but I’m not totally sure it will help H for those without noticeable hearing loss (me) it will probably help with T though.

I agree. I am most hopeful for OTO-413 of all of those. What is the ETA on XEN? SPI coming by late 2021 looking somewhat likely due to COVID fast track. Also I do think FX-322 will help a good deal if we're going by the OHC theory.

Also for those who don’t keep track, all three have milestones coming up over the next couple months. Plus XEN 1101 and FX 322 next year...

I think FX-322 will be our best chance for H recovery. Even though we have no hair cell loss it may be hidden hair cell loss so we should be able to regrow back both hair cells and synapses and most people have hearing loss even if it doesn’t show up in a hearing test.

I'm hoping those those as well,along with PIPE-505 if that is released anytime soon.

@weab00 @Lucifer Yeah I definitely think that regen drugs of some sort will be needed to seal the deal.

Xenon’s drugs are only being tested for epilepsy atm but they know it might help ear stuff. 496 is a little too similar to trobalt for my tastes but it should be informative. Phase 3 starts by end of year. 1101 is similar but safer, phase 2b results expected next June.

In my humble opinion I think that FX-322 and OTO 413 are the closest to being released as SPI-1005 is still going through phase 2 testing. The other ones seem much closer to being released.

@Michael01 SPI 1005 is a wildcard because of its relevance to Covid. If it’s successful in current testing it could be approved pretty quickly.
