Ears constantly have pressure lately. I think driving is causing it. Been wearing custom Westone earplugs with the solid filter.

I have also been wearing Westone earplugs lately and my ears have been hurting for two days in a row. I was just thinking maybe I need to increase my turmeric supplements.

Consider trying 3M 1100 earplugs, or Peltor X5A muffs.

Well I got the custom plugs so I wouldn't have to use foam plugs unless using power tools and such.

It's funny how upset I was when my tinnitus became intrusive a few months ago. Now I'd give almost anything just to get back to that level.

@starrynights I had an acoustic reflex test done during an audiogram. Made my left ear horribly worse.

Thank you Amazon for changing out the beeping on your trucks to something a little less ear piercing.

@Tweedleman It's crazy how 85db felt like nothing before all of this. I spent probably thousands of hours in 100+ db practice studios and venues. Now I seem to cringe at anything above 70db.

Got blasted by a sound bar at Best Buy. Walked away immediately. Ears feel full now. Do I just take a triple dose of NAC now or what?

If you have been taking NAC, you are in a good shape. The spike (if any) will most likely be temporary. Having said that, of course learn from your mistakes and attempt to not give any more spikes to yourself.

I haven't been very consistent with the NAC lately, and hadn't taken any yesterday until after being exposed to the loud sound bar.

Been wearing an earplug in my bad ear, and the ringing settled down a bit. Ran the faucet and it kicked up again, even with the earplug in.

Try wearing earplugs in both ears...

For about 30 seconds, my tonal T went away and I just heard static. It was so soothing, like a soft white noise machine.

It might take months or even years, but hopefully eventually you will be hearing soft static.

@Bill Bauer I really hope so. I've only really been experiencing things getting worse and worse so far. I've been trying to avoid loud sounds. Anything over 70dba I've been putting in ear plugs.

My T in my right ear keeps mimicking the sound of my computer's fan. When I go into another room it's like my computer is following me.

I’ve experienced this after a hyperacusis setback. It mostly receded after I rested my ears for a couple weeks, so I suggest you do the same.

Very interesting. I've been taking moments of rest, and then some sound enrichment since I'm concerned of giving myself hyperacusis. If I do have it, it is very mild. I have noticed that I needed to cut some of the high frequencies on my stereo when listening to music though.
