@Steph1710 - he's probably the greatest player of all time, and he's going back to Man U, where he started out, at 36 years of age. Basically unheard of.
@Damocles Haha most definitely the story of the month. He played us all for absolute fools about going to PSG, City ....and now all of a sudden United? Would be nice to see the Gallagher brothers' faces live on TV when Ronaldo scores the winning goal against City in the next derby;)

Seriously though Steph: if you're a MAN U fan, then yes it is definitely a good thing, if you're a fan of any other team in the Premier League, then it's bad, however it stokes a kind of sentimentality even in non MAN U fans.
It's kind of a boast and awe inspiring spectacle to have such a legend play in your countries league. Plus, he's gonna be funny as f*ck to watch!
Indeed @Christiaan, what a red herring Man City was in this storyline, we absolutely got PLAYED. I'm honestly relieved though, that he has gone back to MAN U and not City, as I just dislike City so much. I'll be alright enjoying watching him at his old club, as long as he's not playing mine! Then it's war!
@Damocles You know, close followers of C7 wouldn't expect his move to England at all. It was rumoured many years ago that the reason why C. Ronaldo left Man U was because he was fed up about the typically rainy weather in England.
And feel free to correct my idea, but my theory why he's back at the old nest is because he deeply misses the fish & chips with mushy peas sauce. And even if he earns half of what he received previously at Juve, you just simply can't say no to something like that;)
