Dr. De Ridder prescribed oxytocin so you can handle your "T" better, right? He won't lower the volume, from what I realized in his interview, everything that exists now is to better deal with the T we already have.
@PortugalTheMan ey man, did Dr De Ridder mention this anywhere in the interview? I can't find any reference to it. But I had a Zoom meeting with him earlier today, and he said that he thinks it might help with lowering T in a subgroup of tinnitus sufferers (who generally have low oxytocin levels)
Ey @Kriszti & @twa it's seems that a simple blood work study is enough to indicate the level of Oxytocin in your body. Anyway, I didn't go down that road to obtain the ♡ hormone
However, the medicine is often prescribed for people with (temporally) low levels of Oxytocin, such as pregnant women, women with postpartum depression (though clinically mixed results) and those on the Autism Spectrum. Guess to which group I belong;P Even though I'm considered a mild case (mainly hypersensitivity issues), I am lucky enough to play the autism card to get a hold on a hard to get medicine like this one
@Christiaan I thought I remembered that to be a pregnancy medicine. @Damocles, I haven't been single in a very long time, but it is still possible to feel alone.
@twa I'm sorry to hear your significant other isn't very mindful of your delicate situation. I wish there was a way to make people like your husband understand what T & H sufferers are going through
