At least you're not worse!
Have you tried taking some meds? Is it louder than before or are there some new sounds? Still don't know what could have caused this?
I was better, now i'm having a spike...
No meds. Do you take them? It's louder than my normal tinnitus - at night it's like a deep booming drone. Really nightmarish :/ Just no idea.. so frustrating. What caused your spike? I hope it's short lived for you <3
@Charburchar driving for 4 hours...it's pretty bad for me too. I was better before this episode. When i was at my lowest point ( i could't sleep because of the tinnitus that woke me up all night) i took Clonazepam. I only took the smallest dose 3 nights in a row,but it helped me a lot.
Ah I see, did you wear ear plugs during the drive? I dont leave the house without my plugs these days. Not being able to sleep sounds awful :/ Touch wood I havent been woken up yet though I do find it difficult to get to sleep. Yeah lack of sleep makes my T worse, it's such a vicious cycle. I will look into getting some Clonazpam if it does get to that point
Yes,i did wear ear plugs, but i guess 4 hours one day and another 4 hours the next day were too much for my ears.
You should totally get some Clonazepam. But use it only if you really need it,it's kinda addictive. Works good as a safety net though.
