Yo, it will get better in a few ways: you will get used to them and eventually we will have hearing regeneration!

Yeah, distortions are horrible to live with. Fingers crossed yours will get better with a little more time.

Sadly this is likely to be our life from now on. I don’t see myself sticking around for a life of torture. It’s too much. How anyone deal with this?

Yea I'm not above thinking about the S word. That being said I could never do it to my parents. Seems like there are some people who heal albeit incredibly slowly (2 years) and I'm somewhat optimistic that we can piggy back off of hearing loss research.

That being said quality of life is obliterated and it only deepens the wound knowing how many things we may miss out on contingent on waiting for science to maybe assist

That’s the thing. There is no research!! There will be no cure or treatments in our lifetime just more sham therapy

You got yours from the vaccine right?

@Brian P Yes my original tinnitus I believe came from the vaccine. 1 month of ringing and then had a indirectly related acoustic shock while trying to make it stop. It's absurd but it happened.

I'm hopeful that some of the hearing loss drugs if they are successful can alleviate our issues
