@Matt G thank you and yes I am! Did have a bad day yesterday but today is much better. I hope you’re doing better too :) @Steph1710 thank you!! I hope you are improving as well <3
That seems to be how it goes but so happy to hear your good days seem to be outweighing the bad @Brittany95
Unfortunately, I my symptoms seem to be progressing. We corresponded in June 2021, and by December of last year I was basically 100%. Covid and I think some light use of my headphones have set me back quite a bit.
Sorry for not being on here in a month @Matt G! That sucks to hear that you’ve had it return, but yes like you said if you got better before you’ll get better again!! That seems to be a common problem with COVID, so maybe the attention that’s brought to tinnitus will make researchers look into it more? We can hope! I hope you’re doing better than you were last month <3
@Brittany95 oh no need to apologize I totally get it! I am so happy to hear that things are moving in the right direction for you. I hope that there is more continued success and positivity in your future :)
Unfortunately, things still seem to be progressing, and I have developed mild pain hyperacusis, as well as TTTS that is uncontrollable. Reactivity still basically the same, but “new tone” seems to be subsiding.
Mentally, I am in a much better place than I was last month, and that is half the battle. Building recovery plans when you are in a better headspace is so much easier.
@Matt G I’m sorry to hear about the hyperacusis and TTTS! But thats great you’re doing better mentally. I don’t know when my shift mentally was, but I know how much better things are when your mind is finally more accepting of this. And glad the new tone is subsiding! I had a new tone for 3 days that was like the noise you hear when someone in the car next to you has the bass cranked up. That was trash haha
