I first got t in ‘02 when I was 17 so ya high school would’ve been good to have a class abt hearing.

Totally. Should be on the same level as drugs/alcohol, smoking, drunk driving, texting while driving, and wearing a seatbelt. Not nearly enough awareness as to how much hearing loss, tinnitus and hyperacusis (which I am still blown away is not even recognized in auto-correct!) can be the block that collapses the Jenga tower of your life.

I’ve told all my friends who listen to loud music and go to raves without hearing protection. I don’t want anyone going through what I’m going through
