@aura in short: rough but liveable. I mean, my T was slowly getting better a year after my worsening in 03/2020, but it was challenging at times when you try to concentrate on your part-time job, sleep & deal with PTSD/stress

@Steph1710 Thanks! Let's hope it stays this way or improves even further. I know that you also had some struggles lately, and I thought that by sharing this story, it might motivate you and others that T can change for the better eventually

@Guywithapug A rave would be quite nice haha. But for now, I'll just stick to less crowded places where they only play smooth jazz:)

@aura I'm sorry you're going through a difficult time. Do you think there are factors that have influence on your tinnitus? Meds, food, continuous stress, etc.? It could be helpful to tackle those issues one thing at a time.

All I can say is that in my case, I've been very strict in adhering to a diet, exercise and notched sound therapy. I haven't skipped a day since I started this regime in +/- 10/2020 and from then on I've experienced a substantial decrease in my tinnitus. Perhaps it has something to do with tackling chronic neuroinflammation & boosting neurogenesis/neuroplasticity

@Christiaan , can you tell me more about the diet and exercise? Was it just a healthier way of living or a specific diet/exercises adressing neck/TMJ issues?

Basically, I'm using organic, plant based food with exercise and supplements to reduce inflammation and boost NGF & BDNF (which are important for neurogenesis/neuroplasticity), not for TMJ or anything of that kind per se since two of my three tones are not somatic.
