    Considering your mental condition, you have nothing to lose here. Find the warrior in you. Forget about looking for people to understand your pain. Instead, focus on the fact that you DESERVE a great life and you're going to take it from the universe, tooth and claw if you have to. Roar at the odds and bulldozer over them. You're fiercer than you think.

    Is your tinnitus reactive? As in: do loud noises or music increase the noise (in either ear) for indefinite periods of time?

    @Damocles No, at least not that I’ve experienced. But I’m worried the loudness of the scans will, especially with how sensitive my ears are and with TTTS. But I don’t even have scans scheduled so I’m worrying over a hypothetical scenario at this point

    Of course avoiding scans like these is the best thing a tinnitus sufferer (of any type/severity) can do, if possible.

    Maybe give it to the end of the year and see if things don't improve by themselves(?).
