Don't hope for it to go away Jurgen. That's the very thing that makes it important. The best approach is to let it be, and to stop fighting it completely. If one day it goes, than it goes, but if it doesn't you simply won't care anywhere near as much anyway.

@Ed209 Jurgen is still in the "Acute" phase by most any standard. There may be some things he can do to improve his chances of permanent improvement or even it going away. He is still in the window of opportunity for some healing. Also some have to hope it can go away just to have any reason to keep living. I know where you're coming from though.

Without a cure we can only kill it's significance, and the hold we let our mind take over the noise. The acute phase is where most of us go wrong; we allow it to take hold on a deep emotional level. My obsession in the early days totally hindered any progress whatsoever.

@Ed209 nah it was a suicide joke, the 8th word could have been "ourselves" which may be even more distasteful given the nature of this site.

I know what you meant Spiral I'm not that slow. That's one of the main problems on support forums though. You only see the negatives most of the time, and all the positives are talked down. It just adds to the overal feel of hopelessness. Negativity attracts negativity. Positives can come from the most heinous of situations; you've just got to look hard and dig deep to find them.
