@Utdmad89 - so sorry. This is my biggest issue. All meds destroy me. My family wants me on a strong AD. Or Gabapentin for pain. I can’t, I need it but can’t. Do you have sensitivity to any foods or drink? I hope you get better with you illness soon. It seems to never end.

Read my posts. 30 seconds of music #3 destroyed me yesterday. Tapping my fingers on my iPad … that sound…. No matter how lightly I press.. I feel a thumping pain. Burning. My T is insane. Turning my head on bed sheets causes a spike and pain. I would not believe it if it did not happen to me. Love to you my brother.

@BB23 I stupidly took my diabetes meds to test if I could without pain, and did some gardening with double protection.

Hope you and all of us on here see some real improvements in our own ear health and in research and treatment.

I don't see any hope tbh. Little to no reaserching is being done. Most here don't have Nox. I'm really losing my will atm

@utdman89 went to emergency last week told them I have Nox need to be careful then they stick a loud beeping thermometer in my ear. Rip of the heart rate arm band. They look at you like your a mental patient. Not one of them heard of this condition. Nox is hell on ear.

Some people have suggested ginger tea. Also avoid sounds that trigger it. You said it was mild in a post very recently, so you don't want your condition to worsen like so many others.

I can't even imagine what nox must be like. I am seriously not well over just loud tinnitus and I need to have constant sound around just to stay sane. For noises to physically hurt is another level. I think functioning ears are the lynchpin of the human body at this point.

It's like a never ending nightmare.

You literally can do more things than i can because of my symptoms, you're so deluded,Mild cases like yourself shouldn't really be trying to bring worse cases down, But that's what you enjoy and scaring newbies.

I never said my T is mild, must be that lack of sleep from all that fear messing with you. I have severe T and severe H, and my Nox is mild as in that moment! Dumbarse. I also have moderate VSS, But I don't expect a mild case like you to understand. I have to isclolate and can't take meds. I honestly think you wouldn't know what severe is. Maybe get ChatGPT to explain it to you?

I would put that negative mindset aside and try to have a more positive attitude and not be so rude to other members on Tinnitus Talk. I think the biggest issue for you isn't the mild T itself, but your reaction to it, always making threats to end it and not come back. I suggest seeking professional help to address the mental aspect. Good luck, we're all rooting for you.

Go see someone, see if they can’t help coping with this just a touch more tolerable. Sorry man, I know this is crazy hard.

I know that I wrote in some agreement with the person you have been arguing with. I try to be neutral and not argumentative, but I just wanted to, you know, apologize if I came off that way. I only have my own internal perception of myself that may or may not align with how the outside world views me.

The person I'm arguing with likes to bring people down. But it's your choice who you agree with. No worries.

I meant I want my old T back as in that was all that I was suffering with then, I'm not 100% sure tbh.

Could be noise trauma, or loads if different meds I've been on. Or a steriod spray the docs gave me for a blocked middle ear. Or all of the above lol
