Yes I do, everything seems way too loud thankfully I haven’t noticed any pain yet. I have distortions too where audio voices and noises sound off and I have ttts too like wtf

Have you found ways to distract yourself during the day?

That's sad to read :( i symphatize. I find it so harsh how the situation has become. I don't know what to say, trying to go day to day, hope for a better day

I can't do any of that anymore and I only have T. The T is as loud as a vacuum cleaner though, and moving around only makes it worse. I no longer have baths, walk my dogs, or pretty much do anything.

I'm sorry.. how about foam earplugs?

I will wear peltors and foam earplugs of course, but I'm afraid it won't help much, my loudness h is terrible. My window is still not soundproofed :((

That’s great What kind of tones were they like pure tones or just a new sound?

Idk i got them at the beginning of may, one tone was quite unbearable, like a weird beeping horror melody
I still have 13-14 tones lol

Truer words have never been spoken. We knew it was heaven before this happened. Now some way that feeling is magnified. How I feel this !! I now see all hardships as blessing minus reactive T with H and N!

@crescentsky maybe there would be hope for me if I never went to doctors. hearing tests, mri, meds destroyed my ears. It was absolutely mild at the beginning, now I am just surviving

What meds did you take?

I went to orthodontist at the beginning bc i thought my t is related to my tmj, he prescribed me naproxen which made my t more unstable (I didn't know anything about ototoxicity), then predonisone made it even worse, it gave me more tones and dysacusis

Oh I understand you completely! My neighbor is screaming slurs very loudly after 11 pm almost daily, and his dog barks almost daily. Also, the new family moved into the building in front of mine. They have 2 loud dogs that bark on the balcony every morning at 5 am. I'm trying to soundproof my room as much as I can

I also have a very loud HVAC unit right below my window. It shows 60-75 decibels in my room with window closed. I found a very heavy and thick sound dampening blanket on Amazon and I hope it will help me block some noise. Unfortunately, this means I won't have any sunlight in my bedroom. Right now I sleep in small walk-in closet. It's quiet in there but hard to breathe :c

Just like you I developed phonophobia and party agoraphobia. The world is just too loud. Funny how I didn't notice it before getting T and H. And funny how my apartment building is right in front of a highway in the middle of the city...right by the biggest hospital in my area... with 7(!) different emergency rooms. Yes. Sleeping more than 3 hours per night is already a bliss lmao
