      Hey everyone,

I've had multi tonal tinnitus since December 2016, Since then it has changed a lot. Currently I've been dealing with a spike for about 6 weeks. It has subsided quite a bit but this one is highly somatic. If I move my neck to the left or right the volume goes up and will stay that way for approx. 15 seconds until it settles. It was never like this before.

Right before the spike I had close to two weeks of very low tinnitus which makes it more difficult.
I've been super careful about loud sounds etc...

Anyways just looking for some thought, maybe speak with someone who has had something similar happen.

When my tinnitus started two weeks ago, it sounded like a 8000 hz tone. Now it sounds like a 9000 hz tone. Didn't really pay much attention to it.

I should mention, the tone that bothers me the most is the high pitch cicada noise, the pure tone never really changes
