      Tinnitus Since:

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Loud club
My car had a complete flat tyre and I had no choice but to drive it home. The entire car was rattling and vibrating so bad! I had ear defenders on but my tinnitus has spiked and my ears are stinging! Can the vibrations worsen tinnitus?

Try not to worry the spike will settle down. Worrying about it won't help and could make it linger on for longer than it should.

I had muffs on so the sound shouldn't have caused any damage, it was 96 dB, but the vibrations hurt everyone's ears in the car.

Although the ears are a delicate organ they are more resilient than we think. Give it time and try not to worry as I'm sure things will settle down...
