A daith piercing goes through a certain fold in the ear, and is known to prevent or lessen the severity of migraines. Do y'all think this - or any other piercing - might help tinnitus?

Yes, get a doctor to pierce your eardrum with a syringe and inject a gamma secretase inhibitor mixed with hydrogel, or a neurotrophic drug like BDNF.

Do you know if that works?

It does in animals, at least to improve their hearing function, which is believed to also help tinnitus. Unfortunately I was being facetious because these drugs are being tested in FDA trials or are about to be.

Ya know, it makes me wonder. Doctors can hardly quantify tinnitus in humans in terms of loudness or whatever. How can they tell they gave tinnitus and cured it in a mouse?
