long term noise exposure (headphones), maybe some stress.
I have been taking the antidepressant Cipralex (escitalopram) for about 10 years.

Some days ago I noticed that among the listed side effects are: tinnitus

I asked my doctor about this and she thinks it's unlikely that the medicine is causing my tinnitus because I have been taking it for so long without this side effect.

Your thoughts?? I'm thinking of taking Zoloft instead as I have heard it should be effective on tinnitus.

I agree with your doctor. Very, very unlikely.
