      Tinnitus Since:
      2006
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Hit in my ear
I think I have a problem with the pressure in the middle ear because I have a crackling noise in the ear when swallowing. And this feeling has coincided with a worsening in tinnitus.
Also when opening the mouth I have a strange feeling in my ear.

I think it has to do with a Eustachian tube dysfunction.
I will have a myringotomy surgery (a very small perforation in the eardrum) so that the pressure can be properly balanced.

Do you know if this kind of surgery can solve the tinnitus in these cases??

      Thanks!!!!

No I don't know about these surgeries for these symptoms. But just so we can link it to other symptoms, what frequency T do you have, did you have the myringotomy and did it make any symptom better?
