I came accross this article that talks about green light being able to lower pain in some patients, especially as it relates to migraines.

The treatment involves sitting in a dark room with a green light, but if you scroll to the bottom, the article talks about trying green tinted sunglasses. It would be great if this or a similar treatment worked for tinnitus.

In some cases there is a link between migraines and tinnitus, perhaps for those people, this might work?

Anyway, I might just pick up a pair of cheap green sunglasses to give it a shot, although I never get headaches so this probably will have no effect.

They’re definitely green enough, that’s for sure! I ordered a slightly more stylish pair to give this a shot for a couple of weeks, what the heck! Lol

It’s been two weeks of wearing these cool green sunglasses with no benefit. Just wanted to check in anyway and give an update as I said I would. I’ll continue using them as I see no harm, but highly doubtful they will help.

I used to have colored light bulbs in my room, and they were awesome, but I stopped using them because I am afraid that they're bad for my eyes... I might reconsider buying them again.

My Tinnitus wasn't bothersome, when I used to have those light bulbs. In general, they made me happier and increased pain tolerance. The benefits were not huge, but were definitely noticeable.

That’s interesting. Were they also green like the article mentions? Or a UV type?
