I recently went to my hearing care professional to have my hearing aid adjusted.

I had my baby with me and since it was babbling all the time, I was very distracted during the hearing test.

The newly adjusted hearing aids were so loud, I did all things very carefully and once I heard church bells it really hurt. I went to the hearing aid acoustician again today and it turned out that I can hear 15 dB better in the low tones than the hearing aid was adjusted for.

Could it be that the incorrect amplification of the hearing aid caused any damage?
