Help — Have Had This Feeling of a Lump in My Throat for About 3 Months

So for about 3 months I've had this feeling of a lump in my throat like right before you start crying.

Left side of throat muscle feel very tight as well.

Can't really feel any lumps and doctors says its a neck strain but its so annoying and keeps me constantly stressed out!

Also every time I swallow spit (not food or liquids) my throat make a click/pop sound/feeling.

Nothing hurts or is in pain just so annoying.

The only thing I can think of that may have started the symptoms was an impact to the center throat with a barbell while doing squat cleans.

Anyone else suffer from similar symptoms?
