Help, Tinnitus Seems to Be Getting Worse, Can't Cope

My Tinnitus seems to be getting worse. I just can't cope with it anymore.

What do you think caused it to get worse?

 

It seems louder. I haven't been well with a bad cold and now it's so loud. I don't think I can do this.

 

The cold may be the reason it is louder @Annika1884. Once you get over the cold the T loudness may very well lessen.
I was out to dinner a few days ago and my T got much louder and it took almost two days for it to go back to its regular pitch.

 

If it's due to a cold, the worsening is probably only temporary. Hang in there! I've had tinnitus for a year now and it seems to have become less noticeable. Either because gotten used to it or the volume had actually decreased. I can't tell.

 

Hang in there...cold can cause a temporary spike.
You don't want to do something permanent, when all you might need is a week and you could be back down to baseline.
Do you know your T's frequency?
