Hi ... My name is Nancy. I have had Tinnitus for almost a year. The two things that affect my tinnitus the most are talking with my cell next to my ear instead of on speaker. The other thing is stress. I have two modes. One is high pitch and one is low pitch. I have been relieved to be in low pitch mode much more often the past months. Two things have caused my ears to go into high pitch mode (ugh). My cell died so I am using an old slider phone. For some reason this cell has triggered louder ringing in my ears. The other thing seems to be sugar... holiday baking. I would love to hear what others have noticed.

      Hi Nancy,

      Welcome to the site.

Have you gone to an ENT since your tinnitus first started for an ear/hearing evaluation? Have you had blood work done? Have high BP or a family history of such?
