If you’re interested in science like I am then you’ll find this article really interesting and well worth reading. It explains how the brain can be conditioned (which I’ve discussed on here before) and shows how powerful the placebo effect can really be. In fact, it’s so good that even ‘fake surgery’ can be effective. It also says that pessimists have shorter telomeres than optimists, which means that the way you think can literally change your DNA and shorten your life span. Never underestimate the power of your mind and the control it has over you.

On the final page, Dr Ted Kaptchuk (Harvard Medical School) mentions chronic pain, which as we know, has links with tinnitus.

      It’s a good read.
