      Cause of Tinnitus:
Syringing + Somatic tinnitus from dental work
If hyperacusis goes away, will high pitch tinnitus lessen a little? I thought this happened for me with my first exposure to loud noise, but now I'm not so sure.

It didn't for me, but my T isn't due to loud noise.

I had hyperacusis for a long time (years) before T set in. My personal experience is that T is more related to hearing loss, and hyperacusis may be related to many different issues, specially exposure to loud noise.
