Basically, I am having trouble sleeping sometimes and wonder if it is okay to drink a glass of wine (or maybe 2) at night? Maybe on occasion?

Using alcohol to help you sleep is another crutch, don't you think?

But we must do what we can to help us get through.

Hi @JasonP -- I've heard varying reports, with some people finding alcohol helps with their sleep and tinnitus, and others saying just the opposite. I don't see why it would be a problem for you to experiment with it. I'd suggest starting slowly however, perhaps a 1/2 glass to start with, and then see what amount and frequency works best for you; -- I'm alcohol intolerant myself, and haven't had any for 30+ years now. Even a small amount can leave me with a nauseous, hangover type feeling for 2-3 days. Seems to change my body chemistry in some way.
