      Hello,

I'm in my 20s. My hearing was tested and it is very good in both ears.

But sometimes (a few times per day or only one time per day) I have a high pitch squeaking or whistling sound in my right ear. It has either a very short duration (< 1 sec), which occurs a few times, or it stays permanent (constant sound) and goes away after 10-15min. It is only audible if it's quiet.

I've heard something about SBUTT (Sudden brief unilateral tapering tinnitus).

      So, what do I have?
Is this a really tinnitus or not? Or is it just a natural thing?
