I hear the electric type sound in head not sure if it's related to tinnitus or my imagination . And I hear mild pictch sound in my left ear i think I can cope with it but that electric sound in head is annoying especially at night or when I am too focused

Yep 24/7 very high pitched brain T here.

I keep wondering what the pathological difference is between brain T and ear T as they have a very different feel.
It is more to the left side of my brain, though.

I don't know. It's been 8 months for me and it still bothers me a lot. One big factor I think is how easily it is to mask. Do you only hear it inside, can you mask it with cricket noises etc., or do you hear it everywhere? Also, does it react to other sounds like watching TV or listening to music?

      It's very common.

As with some others, I have both. It is important to remember that no-one really hears with their ears. The ears are just transducers that take sound pressure waves and turn them into electrical signals for the brain to interpret. As such, you can have tinnitus when there is absolutely nothing wrong with your ears. A lot of people, including some ENTs don't seem to grasp this concept - I know first hand, as I had to explain this to a consultant ENT (yes, I am serious!!!).

Based on how quiet it is for you, you should adapt quickly and it may well vanish completely in time.

Do look after your hearing though. If you're raising your voice to be heard, it is too loud.

      Good luck.

Yeah I'm very strong, always have been, but I'm not strong enough for a lifetime of this hell. I'm worn out already after 3 years, I feel done.
