Learned to Live With It

Hi, I'm Todd, I am from North Carolina and have had "severe" tinnitus for about 4 years now. At first is was maddening, but somehow I've learned to deal with it.

My Dr. prescribed .5mg of diazepam to moderate the condition, it doesn't help in the least. Next I hope to get the hearing aids and see if that helps.

I miss the sound of silence.

Hi Tod k . We all miss the sound of silence that's for sure. What sounds do you here, and how loud is your T. Mines high pitched can here mine over loud road traffic noise. Maskers do nothing for me as my T is above them as well.
