      Hi guys,

I have two type of tinnitus, an hissing on my left (previously high pinch), and an intermittent one on my right. When I try to "pop" the ears, my right one do the same as before the onset, meanwhile the left one "pop" when it wants. It can be after 10 seconds, 1 minutes, 5 minutes. All of this after the onset of tinnitus.

      Is this normal?
      Does someone experience the same?

Yes, quite normal. Like myself you probably have have ETD.

PS. Why are you popping your ears?

There's some difference in altitude level between my home and the place where I work. Not too much, but enough to form the "pressure" in the ears (you know what I mean).

You could try chewing gum! That always helps too!
