Masking Aids for Pulsatile Tinnitus?

Hello all

Has anyone tried masking aids like white noise generators for pulsatile tinnitus?

I have PT in my right ear and regular T in my left and for the high pitches tone in my left ear, I was given Audifon Sueno S white noise masking aid.

The audiologist told me to adjust the sounds for both ears, right now after 2 weeks I am comfortable using it only for my left ear with tone sound.

Using it in the right ear with PT does not improve anything but feels weird. I can still hear and feel the pulses especially in the evenings.

Anyone has tried masking aids? Any help with PT?
