Misoprostol Treatment for Pulsatile Tinnitus

      Tinnitus Since:
      9/2017
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Unknown
      My doctor has prescribed misoprostol low dose for my pulsatile tinnitus. Says one of her patients has had success with reducing the noise. Shouldn’t be used by all women however I’ve read that if you are post-menopause it is safe.

      Anyone heard of this med as a possible treatment for PT?

      Uncertain, now very somatic, started with noise?
      Really pulsatile tinnitus is something very special. Vascular problems often play a role in pulsatile tinnitus.

      A drug treatment of pulsatile tinnitus is unknown. Blood thinners may be helpful in individual cases.
