At first my tinnitus was this high pitch steady noise. Now it's more like hiss and white noise and the high pitch whine has moved to background.

      Is this good?

Also I noticed the hissing is in my right ear and when I bite my jaw together it disappears a bit. It sounds like deflating tire.

Also the pain from my left ear has disappeared. I think it's because of the prednisolone. I have 80 mg per day.

Nice, you very well may be recovering.

Go take a bunch of something called curcumin. Like 5 grams a day for a few days. It is very otoprotective (protective to the inner ear).

I'd also get some N Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) and some EGCG and take at normal levels. Go now to the supplement store. Like right now.

Is the tone changing a good sign? All the supplement stores are closed for today. It's night already here...

I do stillnhear the high pitch but is had gone down in volume a bit. I am pretty sure about that. It's not as piercing as it used to.

Yes, changing sound is good, when it is going down.

If you have vitamin B and C wouldn't hurt to take that. Stay nice and calm and go to the supplement store first thing tomorrow.

I also realised I can control my T sound bit by moving my jaw while biting my teeth together. I was not able to do that earlier.

I have vitamins in my cabinet. Magnesium, DHA, D. Vitamin, And some multivitamin that contains everything. I guess I'll double the amount tomorrow.

Also I noticed no pain in my left ear today. This was the first day without pain.

      Some improvement at least.

Two weeks about. I am still protecting myself so no loud noises, no headphones etc. And avoiding loud environments.

Very good sign and is normal... The prednisone did the same to me... May change a bit when you get off of it... Overall it will be better to deal with as time goes on.

In my experience that is a good sign. How long after the tinnitus showed up did you start to take the Prednisone?

it's extremely normal for tinnitus sounds to change, move around spatially, become different, etc as your brain plasticizes the changes over a period of time.

if things are moving in a more tolerable direction that might be "good"; simple change, by itself, means less because it's basically universal. Almost everyone's tinnitus changes over the first weeks/months/year.
